Help the Malaysian Bar Council with human rights

The Malaysian Bar Council's Human Rights Committee would like a background paper and possibly ongoing advice, on a pro-bono basis, on the UK approach to fighting terrorism. The Bar Council is regularly consulted by the Malaysian government to comment on the Internal Security Act and other laws which are intended to protect public security, but which have also been used to suppress dissent. The Bar Council would like to understand the UK approach in order to provide a comparative analysis to the Malaysian government.

Temporary opportunity for Dutch speaking lawyer

Merrill Corp is looking for Dutch/English speaking lawyers for a temporary competition/antitrust legal review assignment at their client's premises in Brussels. The review is expected to start in late March, possibly April. It is expected to last a couple of weeks - start date and length of assignment remain to be confirmed but the client would expect a successful candidate to be available to work for 40 hours a week.
