Discount for International Division members: ABA Section of International Law spring meeting, New York
Members of the Law Society's International Division can benefit from reduced registration rates at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of International Law's 2010 spring meeting in New York City, 14 - 16 April.
The meeting is a ‘must attend’ meeting for international lawyers, it will attract around 1500 international lawyers for three days of seminars and networking.

As the Law Society's International Division is a 'Co-operating Entity' at the event, individual and corporate Division members can register for the same rate as members of the ABA Section of International Law: $1045.

The Law Society will be an exhibitor at the event and is co-sponsor to a session on 'cutting judicial red tape and unlocking blocked assets: ADR as a strategic vehicle to improve the investment climate in developing countries and to foster the rule of law'.
Speaking opportunity
The Law Society is partnering with UK Trade & Investment on a roundtable event on Aoril 13th ahead of the ABA meeting to look at the future of financial services regulation in the UK and how it will affect US companies doing business here. There are opportunities for English law firms to participate in the event as panellists and lead the debate with an audience of high-level representatives from financial services companies and institutions in New York.
