The ABA Section of International Law is organising a one-day conference on February 9, 2010 in Sydney, Australia. The theme of the ILEX conference is Australian and U.S. perspectives on "Cross-Border Collaboration, Convergence and Conflict: The Internationalization of Domestic Law and Its Consequences."
The conference will feature programmes relating to the internationalisation of constitutional norms, global environmental regulation, internationalisation of commercial law, and the legal consequences of the global financial crisis.
Confirmed speakers include U.S. Associate Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, former Australian High Court Justices Michael Kirby and Murray Gleeson, and other leaders of the legal profession in Australian and the U.S.
The conference will be held in the Banco Court of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. It is being organised with the Law Council of Australia, Law Society of New South Wales and New South Wales Bar Association.

The Law Society and the ABA Section of International Law
