Gulf lawyers training dates – opportunities in 2008/09

Following a hugely successful first year, the Law Society has announced the schedule for the 2008/09 Gulf Lawyers' Training Programme. The courses have been put together in direct response to the requirements outlined by lawyers and firms working in the Gulf region and cover corporate/commercial, finance and professional skills topics.

The programme, in partnership with the College of Law, delivers CPD accredited courses to solicitors of England and Wales and lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions practising in the Gulf. Courses have been modified to ensure they take into account the particular circumstances of practising in the Gulf whilst ensuring the international nature of commercial practice remains at the core.

Courses to date have been held in Dubai but provision has been made for courses to be held in other Gulf cities such as Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Doha – subject to demand.
