Webinar: How to requalify as a solicitor through the QLTS

Register now for our free webinar 'How to requalify as a solicitor through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme' on Tuesday 7 May.

About the QLTS

The QLTS allows lawyers qualified in foreign jurisdictions to re-qualify as solicitors of England and Wales. It is a fast-track route to qualification with no experience or training contract requirement.

The QLTS does not make any distinction between lawyers who have their first qualification from a common law or a civil law jurisdiction and most foreign lawyers are eligible for direct access to the QLTS assessments.

Why dual qualify as a solicitor?

Businesses are increasingly international and they expect their lawyers to be too. Such is the international reach of English law and the English legal profession that re-qualifying as a solicitor of England and Wales opens up a world of career opportunities.

About this webinar

Jenny Crewe from the Solicitors Regulation Authority will present on how to apply for the QLTS, what the tests involve, costs and timings. There will be an opportunity to submit questions during the webinar and a recorded version of the event will be available afterwards.

  • Date: Tuesday 7 May
  • Time: 16:00 GMT (11:00 EST)
  • Cost: free
