QLTS exam: NYC exam from 2013

Foreign lawyers can take the first part of the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) in New York City from January 2013. This is the first time a part of the Scheme has been offered outside the UK.
The QLTS allows lawyers qualified in foreign jurisdictions to re-qualify as solicitors of England and Wales. This is a fast-track route to qualification with no experience or training contract requirement.
