Pakistan investment group seeks commercial lawyers

The Pakistan-Britain Trade and Investment Forum seeks commercial lawyers to join its ranks. This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers with interests in the Asia region to strengthen their ties to this important economy. The forum has high level engagement from British industry, the UK government and the Pakistan government. The goals of the forum are to:

• offer advice and promote activity for healthy growth across all aspects of the commercial and investment relationship between the two countries
• address actively all problems hampering trade between the two countries
• enhance and promote Pakistan as a location for investment and profitable business operations
• engage actively and promote mutual understanding between the business communities of Pakistan and Britain
• maintain close and active liaison with the Pakistan-Britain Business Advisory Group, the OICCI and other appropriate groups in Pakistan
• proactively look to bring together, on occasion, all the principal entities based in the UK which have an interest in and involvement with Pakistan
