A recent announcement by the European Court could mean thousands of non-residents will be able to claim back unfairly paid taxes paid to the Spanish Government. The Spanish government could face thousands of claims involving the refund of millions of Euros in incorrectly paid taxes, even in cases where the limitation period of claiming before four years applies.
