Four UK firms successful in bid for "superlicence"
Four UK firms - Allen & Overy, Norton Rose, Herbert Smith and Clifford Chance - were successful in their bid to become a "Qualifying Foreign Law Practice". The Singapore Attorney-General's Office issued a total of 6 licences to foreign firms in December 2008 which will allow them to better integrate their practices with local legal experts.
