The International Division is offering corporate members with interests in Barbados, Malaysia, Pakistan, Rwanda and Zimbabwe the opportunity to meet senior lawyers from each jurisdiction whilst they are in the UK on a Law Society programme.

3 February: International Division 'First Wednesdays' - come and meet lawyers from Rwanda, Malaysia, Zimbabwe and Barbados

Our 'First Wednesdays' networking drinks will take place on Wednesday 3 February from 18.00 - 20.00 at the Law Society. A selection of beverages and light bites will be available to order from Six Clerks, our bar and restaurant.  This month we will be joined by visiting senior lawyers and bar executives from Malaysia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Barbados, so if you are interested in finding out more about these jurisdictions, please come along.

Deadline approaching: World Bank ‘Doing Business’ report 2011 - get involved

DoingBusinessThe Law Society is once again working with the World Bank on the global research project Doing Business. We are looking for contributors for the 2011 report to act as local partners in the areas of corporate, employment, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and real estate law. The deadline to complete and return questionnaires for the project is 31 March.
