Save the date: IBA Africa Regional Forum 8 - 10 August
Join the Law Society of England & Wales at the IBA African Regional Forum in Kampala. This year Uganda, through the Uganda Law Society, is hosting the event at the Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort from 8th – 10th August 2012.
The Conference will commence with a Bar Leaders’ Conference and Young Lawyers’ Training Course on the 8th August 2012 followed by a 2-day conference on the 9th and 10th August 2012.

Law Society vice president attends Qatar Law Forum
The Law Society vice president will this week travel to Doha to participate in the Qatar Law Forum. The forum brings together leaders in law from around the world to provide opportunity to discuss the challenge of achieving global understanding and commitment to the Rule of Law and allied issues of international legal and economic significance.
The event is supported by the Government of Qatar and held under the patronage of His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
